The results of a close election ballot find Jennifer Adling, Procurement Director at Texas Tech University, as our new Secretary for the 2016-2017 operational year. Please join me in congratulating Jennifer! 

Honorable mention goes to Elaine Chew, Director of Support Services / Central Services / Hub Program at Tarleton State University. She ran as Jennifer's opponent. The voting was extremely close, demonstrating the strength of each candidate.

In other news, the TOAL voting membership approved by a wide margin selected amendments to the region's bylaws. The amendments were substantially technical in nature and posed no controversy within the organization. The region now gets ready for its annual meeting in San Marcos, TX starting September 25.
