Academies

NAEP Procurement Academies

The NAEP Procurement Academies are competency-based certificate programs that provide best practices, market knowledge, and fundamental concepts of educational procurement needed to advance your career for every career stage.

Academies are typically offered in person once per year by NAEP.

Academies are designed to offer education based on different levels of career stage or the Education Tiers.



In-Person Academies

 
 
Leadership Tier 1
18 CEH's

Tier 1 is designed for early career professionals or professionals new to higher ed procurement. Objectives of this course focus on basic processes for educational procurement. 

 
Leadership Tier 2
18 CEH's

Academy Tier 2 is designed for mid-level career professionals who manage a program and or people within the procurement department. Objectives of this course focus on intermediate processes for educational procurement.

 
Leadership Tier 3
18 CEH's

This Tier 3 level of the Leadership Academy focuses on key areas instrumental in creating an effective department. If you lead a team or direct a component of it this is the leadership training for you.

  The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 1 is for early career professionals or professionals new to Higher Ed Procurement. The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 1 focuses on 3 main sections, with up to 17 learning objectives.   The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 2 is designed for mid-level career professionals who manage a program and or people within the procurement department. Objectives of this course focus on intermediate processes for educational procurement. The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 2 focuses on 4 main sections, with up to 16 learning objectives.   The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 3 focuses on key areas instrumental in creating an effective department. If you lead a team or direct a component of it, this is the leadership training for you. Objectives of this course focus on leadership skills for educational procurement. The Procurement Leadership Academy Tier 3 focuses on 4 sections, with up to 10 learning objectives.
