Milo Crabtree, University of Alabama, Elected to Board of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP)

The National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), the nationwide organization focused on procurement in higher education, has announced the election of Milo Crabtree, Senior Associate Director for Procurement Services at the University of Alabama, to its Board of Directors. Milo will serve as the NAEP District III Board Member, representing NAEP members in the southeast including the NAEP regions of Kentucky, the Carolinas, Florida, and TAGM (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia & Mississippi). Installation of officers took place on May 1, 2020 via a virtual ceremony.

Milo has volunteered his time and talents to several procurement related organizations including NAEP over the course of his career. He has contributed to both NAEP national and regional committees and meetings including leading roles at the NAEP TAGM regional meetings. He has moderated and served on many industry panel discussions and has also led sessions on multiple procurement topics at national and regional events.

Celebrating our 100th year in 2021, NAEP’s mission is to facilitate the development, exchange and practice of effective and ethical procurement principles and techniques within higher education and associated communities, through continuing education and networking.
