Bert C. Ahrens Achievement Award

The Bert C. Ahrens Achievement Award is a prestigious award and NAEP’s highest honor. It considers an individual’s contributions to the procurement profession over an extended period of time. It recognizes the recipient’s dedication to the advancement of educational procurement and institutional success. 

 
 

Excellence in Procurement Award

The Award for Excellence in Procurement recognizes institutions through outstanding contributions to the profession, their institution, and the field of higher education.  This includes recognizing institutions whose innovative practices, creative processes, and commitment to continuous improvement exemplify the strategic value of higher education procurement. 

 
 

Brian Yeoman Sustainable Procurement Award

The Brian Yeoman Sustainable Procurement Award recognizes institutions who have made outstanding contributions to sustainability efforts on their campus and in higher education procurement.

 
 

Bob Ashby Mentor of the Year Award

The Bob Ashby Mentor of the Year Award recognizes dedication to the profession through mentorship and advancement of other professionals, including extraordinary contributions to the institution, higher education community and profession. The nominee is an active member of NAEP who cares about the success of their mentee, their institution, and ultimately the educational procurement profession.

 

 

Eddie H. Jackson Supplier Diversity Award

The Eddie H. Jackson Supplier Diversity Award recognizes institutions who have made outstanding contributions to supplier diversity and inclusion initiatives on their campuses and in higher education procurement.

 

 

Neil D. Markee Volunteer of the Year Award

The Neil D. Markee Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes outstanding contributions to volunteerism and engagement with NAEP, including the advancement of higher education through the written or spoken word.

 
 

New Professional in Procurement Award

The New Professional in Procurement Award recognizes those who have been in higher education procurement for five (5) years or less and have made exemplary contributions to the institution, higher education community, the association, or the procurement profession. The nominee will have been an active member of NAEP for at least one year.

 
 

IMPACT Award

The NAEP IMPACT Award recognizes an individual, company, or organization who is not a member of NAEP but has made a substantial impact on the organization through collaboration, partnership, or support.
