NAEP welcomes Brad Pryba as the new Chief Executive Officer.
NAEP welcomes Brad Pryba as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective September 5, 2023. In his new role, Brad will lead the NAEP staff and work strategically with the NAEP Chair and Board of Directors to advance the mission and define the strategic direction of the association.
Brad has served and led professional associations for the majority of his career, understanding their unique dynamics, challenges, benefits and promise. Brad has experience within higher education associations, where he led boards in facilitated planning sessions and crafted recent strategic plans for the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management (NAGAP), College Media Association (CMA), and the Association for College and University Auditors (ACUA). As a lobbyist Brad developed legal expertise in both the education space and procurement at the state and county levels. He also served as chief legal officer for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and as a lobbyist for the New York State Psychological Association. Brad has a JD from St. John’s University School of Law and holds a BA from Middlebury College where he studied History and Mandarin Chinese. Currently, he lives in New York with his wife, Nerissa, and his two children, Wesley, 9, and Claire, 5, and his dog Dosa, 11.
Said Brad, “I’m beyond excited to begin my journey with NAEP. As a strong believer in the power of associations to move their professions forward and bring meaningful, valuable learning and connecting opportunities to their members, it will be a great pleasure to work together with the Chair, Board and members to do just that, as NAEP looks towards another one hundred years of empowering procurement professionals in higher education.”
He will be attending many of the district/regional meetings this fall to meet NAEP members and business partners face-to-face. You can also reach out to him directly via email starting on September 5th at bpryba@naepnet.org.
