Registration Celebration: Sunday

We've turned picking up your badge into a party! Stop by the registration area on Sunday to enjoy food, drinks and a fun environment after you print your badge and pick up your conference materials. Enjoy time with friends and meet with new colleagues in a relaxing environment.

Scholarship Raffle

The Scholarship Committee is once again pleased hold our annual raffle to raise funds for the scholarship programs. Let us know if you'll donate an item to the event.

Community Service Project

This year, we are working with a local year-round free grocery store that allows people in the community to shop for their basic needs. They have asked that we prepare and donate hygiene kits. We will hold the community service project on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm as part of the Registration Celebration.

No Program Booklet This Year

NAEP will not have a printed program book but rather a workbook. Use the workbook to keep track of those inspirational ideas and insights that always occur during a conference. Be sure to download the mobile app for the full schedule and to receive updates throughout the event. You may also print a copy of the full schedule from the website ahead of time.

Mobile App

NAEP will once again offer a mobile app to enhance your conference experience. The app will contain the full program and will allow you to customize your schedule. Additionally, it will include the list of speakers, the conference attendee and exhibitor lists, maps of the meeting rooms and exhibit hall and much more. You can use the app to contact colleagues and friends during the conference. Details on downloading and logging into the app will be made available in March 2020.

Dress Code

Business casual is recommended. Meeting rooms can be chilly at times and you may want to pack a sweater or jacket. Wear your school colors on Monday!

Social Media

Use #NAEP2020 to tag your social media posts before, during and after the conference.

Please be aware of the following known scams:

  • No one should contact you directly to book your rooms or offer you a "special discounted conference rate." If you receive one of these calls, it is a scam. They have been known to say they are calling on behalf of NAEP. In these instances, not only are you not in the conference block but there have been several instances in which the "company" will take your credit card information, give you a fake confirmation number and not secure a reservation for you regardless of charging your credit card.

  • Anyone offering to rent or sell you the NAEP conference attendee list is not affiliated nor authorized to speak on behalf of NAEP. It is a scam.

  • If you receive a phone call from someone wanting to speak to the 'the person who is handling this event from your side or your tradeshow coordinator' or tries to alert you to a 'decrease in the conference room pricing' or 'very limited availability', this is a scam tactic. Please ignore it and hang up. These companies are not affiliated with NAEP, and it is a scam.

  • If someone contacts you claiming to be from the NAEP Conference or Exhibitor Department and is not with NAEP staff or GES (for exhibitors), do not share any information with them. The company is not affiliated with NAEP, and it is a scam.
