Annual Meeting 2017: Leadership Forum

A popular add-on event at the NAEP Annual Meeting, the Leadership Forum enhances the skills and job knowledge of procurement professionals. Designed for upcoming and current procurement leaders, the interactive session prepares you for the challenges and changes in higher education globally and procurement specifically.

The Leadership Forum will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017.  This event includes lunch.

Influence... The Key to Leadership!

Leadership is influence…. Increase your impact on others by becoming a person of influence.  In this interactive workshop, you will be immersed in key leadership laws and traits that distinguish great leaders.  Learn simple, insightful ways to interact more positively with others and watch your personal and organizational success go off the charts.  Position yourself in the organization as a leader and enjoy more collaborative relationships as you lead your end user through effective procurement while earning their respect to elevate your role in the organization. Come prepared to participate and enjoy the journey.

About the Presenter

Lourdes Coss, MPA, CPPO is the author of “Procurement Methods: Effective Techniques”; a certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Teacher & Coach; and an accomplished procurement professional with over 27 years of experience. She held executive level positions in major public organizations, such as: City of Chicago, University of Illinois at Chicago, Public Building Commission of Chicago, Cook County, and City of Houston achieving many accomplishments that helped these organizations advance

Lourdes also held positions in various Boards regarding energy, green procurement, minority and women business participation, and NIGP. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico and received her MPA from Florida State University.


The Leadership Forum is an add-on event at the Annual Meeting and requires an additional registration. NAEP member pricing is $50 and non-member and vendor pricing is $100. Register today as space will be limited.
