The Job Description and RFP Challenge is back for 2018!

Submit your unique job description and/or RFP by March 5th for a chance to win a complimentary registration to the 2019 Annual Meeting.

This year, as we offered in 2017, there are two contests, one for RFPs and one for Job Descriptions. Read on to learn the details on how to submit and how you can win. The contest is open from January 22, 2018 and runs through March 5, 2018.

Job Description Challenge

As procurement evolves, it is necessary to review the job duties and responsibilities of your department. Benchmark your procurement staff jobs and roles against other institutions by comparing and contrasting other job descriptions. By uploading your specific job descriptions, you will help build a foundation that we can all use to benchmark. Don't want to share the specifics of your school in the document? That's okay, edit your documents to indicate if the description of the position is for a small or large school.

  • Use this link to submit job descriptions.(you'll be asked to create an account - this is separate from your NAEP login)
  • All Job Description submissions will be evaluated by the Pro-D committee to ensure that they are new and legitimate. We will accept multiple Job Descriptions for the same position but Job Descriptions already in the libraries will not be counted.
  • Each institution will be ranked by size (number of full-time undergraduate students): Small (100 – 5,000), Medium (5,001 – 10,000) and Large (over 10,000).
  • For every submission, the institution receives one credit that will be placed into a drawing within each category.
  • Each size category for the Job Description Challenge will have one winner (total of three institutions). The winning institution in each size category receives a complimentary registration for the 2019 Annual Meeting.
  • A drawing for the three (3) winners of the Job Descriptions Challenge will be announced at the 2018 Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL and will also be published in the NAEP Pulse newsletter.
