Now through February 24th, submit your unique RFP documents as well as the job descriptions for various procurement roles in your department.
Compete against other institutions similar in size (number of Full Time Equivalent Students): Small (100 - 5,000), Medium (5,001 - 10,000) and Large (10,001+). With each unique entry, a ticket will be placed in a drawing held during the 2017 Annual Meeting in Reno. For both the Job Description Challenge and the RFP Challenge, a winner from each category will receive a complimentary registration to the 2018 NAEP Annual Meeting in Orlando at Disney's Contemporary Hotel.
Participate in two separate contests - one for new RFPs and one for new Job Descriptions. Build on our shared knowledge by adding both to our resource library.
Ready to start? Let's get to it:
Job Description Contest:
As procurement evolves, it is necessary to review the job duties and responsibilities of your department. Benchmark your procurement staff jobs and roles against other institutions by comparing and contrasting other job descriptions. By uploading your specific job descriptions, you will help build a foundation that we can all use to benchmark. Don't want to share the specifics of your school in the document? That's okay, edit your documents to indicate if the description of the position is for a small or large school.
Submit your RFPs to the library. Don't reinvent the wheel when preparing a request for proposal for a new project. Many times, your colleagues have very recently prepared the documents for a similar project. Save significant staff time by tapping into our shared knowledge. Learn from what your colleagues have already done!
- Review the document libraries to see how you can supplement our knowledge base
- Duplicate entries will not count; we want to expand the body of knowledge to help all of our members
- Many categories are already included in the libraries but feel free to add a new category or job title if you have a unique RFP or job description that you feel can be a valuable addition.
