Let's Go Golfing!

All golf courses are not created equal. Located 20 minutes north of Denver Colorado National Golf Club (formerly Vista Ridge) is the Premier golf course on the front-range. Colorado National is the exclusive golf club for the University of Colorado's men's and women's golf teams. Playing at 7,676 yards from the tips with a course slope of 141 and a course rating of 75.4 this par 72 layout on a mixture of rye and bent grass is one of Colorado's best golf clubs. Its backdrops include snow capped mountains, rolling terrain, and breath taking views from the course and clubhouse. With 5 sets of tee boxes this Jay Morrish designed course offers playability for all golfers. A 696 yard par 5, a drivable par 4, and exceptional elevation changes are some of the highlights to this tremendous course. Colorado National Golf Club also offers the best practice facility in Colorado including three separate tee boxes, a short game area, large putting green, and even a fairway practice bunker will help you prepare your game for perfection.

25 sets of golf clubs will be available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis at the cost of $25 per set.

Spend Sunday morning and afternoon relaxing or trying your luck in Black Hawk, CO. This tour is available to all registrants and guests. A surprise incentive will be provided to help offset the $20 fee. Transportation will depart at 9:45 AM and return to the hotel around 4:00 PM.

Please meet in lobby of Hyatt Regency - Denver at 8:45 AM.  Transportation will depart at 9:00 AM and return to the hotel around 3:00 PM.

Tour of the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB) Campus

Join us for a tour of the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB) campus, named the #1 green university by Sierra Magazine. Dave Newport, Director of the UCB Environmental Center, will lead the tour.

Tour highlights include:

  • Observing the zero-waste system in the student union building
  • Touring a LEED Gold certified building
  • A brief walking tour of the campus sustainability amenities (bikes, etc.)
  • Tour of the campus recycling center

The entire tour, including bus ride there and back, is approximately 4 hours.  A bus will leave from the Hyatt at 8:00 AM and return you to the Hyatt at approximately 12 noon.

There is no additional fee for this session however space is limited to the first 40 attendees that sign up on-site.  A sign-up sheet will be available at the registration desk in Denver and all who would like to attend will need to sign up for this tour prior to Wednesday, March 24th, at 8AM to ensure a seat on the bus.
