The National Association of Educational
Procurement, Inc., is the
professional association serving colleges and universities
nationwide. Effective December 2002, K-12 School Districts are
eligible to take advantage of NAEP's membership services as an
"Associate Member."
NAEP was organized in 1921 to provide a forum where campus purchasing
professionals might share valuable information. We are the professional
association dedicated to serving higher education by providing those
with purchasing responsibility with the specialized information they
must have. Our mission is to advocate the development, exchange and
practice of effective and ethical procurement principles and techniques
within the higher education and associated communities, through
continuing education and networking.
NAEP New Membership Dues
Most of
NAEP's income is provided by annual membership dues. NAEP dues are
roughly based on the size of the member institution as measured by FTE
(Full Time Equivalent). Historically, NAEP dues have been among
the lowest charged by various professional associations serving campus
administrators. The annual dues charged are proposed by NAEP's
Board and decided by a mail vote of the membership.
